About
Ruskin Rowe is a rambunctious alt-country duo hailing from the Northern Rivers in NSW that are making sweet, sweet country waves in the scene with their much anticipated releases. You may have heard them on Channel 7's Growing Home with Jamie Durie recently after they were approached to write and perform the theme song for the prime-time series.
Their music weaves together storytelling, poetic lyrics, and soaring vocal harmonies, evoking the likes of Goo Goo Dolls, Zach Bryan, Of Monsters and Men and just a little dash of Fleetwood Mac.
With Matts husky baritone and Ameka’s hauntingly beautiful vocals, they create a unique sound that is both nostalgic and modern and showcases both the songwriting and performance chops that the multiple tours of the US, Europe and South America have bought before them.
Their debut album, "You and I” explores themes of love, heartache, and the journey of finding a home both physical and metaphorical. Engineered and mixed by Paul Pilsneniks (Angus and Julia Stone), the leading three singles have each gained high rotation on commercial and country radio throughout Australia and the world.
